Her unborn baby held up his hand and made a peace sign at the scanner – as if to tell his mother that everything was going to be alright, Thumbs up probably would have been more clear, but who’s complaining. It put the Mom’s mind at rest and her son Owen was born safely last month.
Louise Butt, 30, a recruitment consultant, who lives in Bristol with her partner Daniel Neate and their son Samuel, three, said: ‘It really was remarkable. I was lying on the scanning table and we were worried because I’d already suffered three miscarriages. ‘Then the baby just held up his hand and made the victory sign. The sonographer couldn’t believe it. She zoomed in on his hand and showed me what he was doing.
