Way back in 2008 Chester Bennington, lead singer for Linkin Park, hurt his back and has lodged a lawsuit over his pain. When Chester first injured his back, the band was forced to cancel a few concerts. So, how did the back injury occur? It’s kind of funny actually….
Chester hurt himself putting together a toy for his son. Who does that? Bodily injury from a big wheel? That’s crazy. Actually the type of toy wasn’t mentioned but one can only imagine. Maybe if he got sexy with a Stretch Armstrong doll I could understand. Or even stepped on a Lego and threw his back out? Have you ever stepped on a Lego? It is brutal.
In any event, the concerts that were canceled were scheduled in China to raise money for the earthquake they had back in May ’09. The fans were compensated for the tickets but Linkin Park wants some money for the lost venue so they filed a claim with their insurance company, Lloyds. The insurance company denied the claim so what’s a band to do? File a lawsuit. My guess is that if this suit doesn’t settle in their favor Mattel better watch their backs!
