Before it came out, Diablo 3 was the most pre-ordered PC video game in the history of Amazon’s website. After the release, it was the most purchased video game within it’s first 24 hours of hitting the stands. In those first hours, it sold over 3.5 million copies making it not only a big hit in the gaming world, but a stand out product for this year.Within that first week of release, it sold over 6 million copies.
